How Much Time Does Bridal Party Photos Take?
For today's post, I thought I'd show you what taking photos of the bridal party process looks like. There are many different ways to do it, but taking your group photos the 30 minutes to an hour before sunset is ideal because 1) it's not as hot, and 2) the sunlight is downright magical.
I always start with photos of just the girls and then just the guys. Having photos with your closest friends on your wedding day is one of those moments you always want framed in your home.
Then, we take photos of the whole group all together. Some serious, some fun, but it's always a good time trying to get all those people focused on the task at hand at the same time *cough cough* I'm talking to you, fellas! * cough cough*
The last photos are my favorite part. I'll send the bridal party inside to the reception, so it's just me and the happy couple. These photos are always sweet and sincere. After all, the crazy stressful part of the day is over and this is the first time on their wedding day that they've been left alone and can enjoy one another (well, they're sort of alone..)
Make sure your wedding day timeline allows for at least an hour for family and bridal party photos. You'll be glad you took the time to do it!
