The Baby Chick | Mother's Day Soiree
Once upon a time, there was Nina, an expert on mommies and babies and she wrote a blog called The Baby Chick. This blog features tips for mommies to be, outfit inspiration for little ones, and children's product reviews. For the blog's first anniversary, Nina decided what better way to show her love and support of the mommas of Houston, than by throwing a party! And thus, the Mother's Day Soiree was born! With the help of Tutus & Bowties Parties & Events, this party was a smash and all the proceeds went to Every Mother Counts! Check out some photos of the event, along with links to the sponsors below!
The beautiful linens you see were also provided by House of Hough.
Hey Bernadette made all of the adorable calligraphy signs you'll see.
All balloons, glasses, napkins, plates, and letter candy dishes were provided by the always stylish Tutus & Bowties Events.
Guests were able to indulge a little with free make-up, hair braiding, and massage.
Of course I had to get my hair 'did! Who says no to a braid bar by Sunny Hair & Makeup Artistry?
Didn't they do a great job?
Nina herself even got in line for the make-up by Blend Smart.
One thing I regret is not stopping by the massage therapists from Zalla Massage for a quick little shoulder massage, but the ladies leaving that area looked pretty relaxed to me!
Paper flowers are all the rage lately, but I've never seen any done so delicately as Balushka! This girl is ridiculously talented!
Trader Joe's never disappoints with their catering crew. We munched on delicious cheeses (get the Unexpected Cheddar - you won't be disappointed), fruits, veggies, fried mac and cheese, and puff pastries.
Oh, the macarons...I'd like to say that I'm a macaron connoisseur. After all, I've tried quite a few macarons in my life, but these were by far my favorite! You have simply got to check out Mon Cherie Macarons!
And is there anything better than cotton candy? Lush Puff was fluffin' it up and servin' it!
What's an elegant affair without a pink carpet? The guests loved getting the celebrity treatment and getting their photos taken.
Kameela with Tutus & Bowties pulled off an amazing event! Everything was perfect and you never cease to amaze me, woman!
Know what else is awesome? Running into a friend I haven't seen in forever! It was great seeing you, Val Around Town!
Cheers to Nina and the wonderful work she does for mothers and babies everywhere. And cheers to all the mamas out there!
Thank you so all of the wonderful sponsors that helped pull this amazing event together! Everything was so beautiful and all the ladies had the best time celebrating motherhood!
